This policy describes how Stickybit Cyber LLC (“Stickybit,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use stickybitcyber.com and related contact channels.
Short version: This is a marketing website. If you use the contact form, we process what you submit in order to reply. Form messages are delivered by email and are not stored on the web server. We use Google reCAPTCHA to reduce abuse.
1. Who we are
Stickybit Cyber LLC is a Delaware limited liability company providing offensive security consulting. For privacy questions, contact info@stickybitcyber.com or the security contact on our site when reporting a vulnerability.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Contact form data — name, email address, company (optional), services of interest, message content, and your agreement to be contacted.
- Technical data from security controls — Google reCAPTCHA may process device and usage signals (for example IP address, browser data, and interaction patterns) to assess whether a submission is likely automated. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
- Server / hosting logs — our hosting provider and web server may record standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, URL, timestamps) for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. These are infrastructure logs, not a CRM of form messages.
- Email — if you write us directly, we receive whatever you include in the message.
We do not intentionally collect special-category data through the website. Please do not submit passwords, secrets, or sensitive personal data in the contact form.
3. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and provide consulting-related communications you request
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website
- To prevent spam, fraud, and automated abuse (including via reCAPTCHA)
- To comply with law or enforce our rights when required
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Contact form — processing & storage
- When you submit the form, your message is sent by email to our internal mailbox (currently routed for handling by our team).
- We do not retain contact-form submissions as files or databases on the public web server. Delivery is email-based; if email delivery fails, the submission is not kept on that server.
- Copies may then exist in email systems (for example Google Workspace inboxes, backups, or devices used by our team) under normal business email retention practices.
- Reply-To is set to the address you provide so we can respond.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Our core site content does not require an account cookie. Third-party security services such as Google reCAPTCHA may set or read cookies and use local storage as described in Google’s documentation and Privacy Policy and Terms.
You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking reCAPTCHA may prevent form submission.
6. Sharing
We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us run the site and communications (for example web hosting, DNS, email/SMTP, and reCAPTCHA / Google)
- Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
- Successors in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards
Providers process data under their own terms and only as needed to provide their services to us.
7. Retention
- Web server: contact-form bodies are not stored on the web server after handling.
- Email / business systems: retained as long as needed for the inquiry, client relationship, legal, or security purposes, then deleted or archived according to our internal practices.
- Security logs: kept for a limited period for operations and abuse investigation.
8. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls on the server, abuse protections (including rate limiting and reCAPTCHA), and least-privilege practices for the contact pathway. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. For security issues related to Stickybit, use the security contact published on our website.
9. International visitors
We are based in the United States. If you access the site from another country, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other locations where our providers operate.
10. Children
The site is directed at business and professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Your choices & rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal data, or to object to processing. To make a request, email info@stickybitcyber.com. We may need to verify your request. You may also stop marketing-style follow-ups by asking us to (we primarily use contact data to respond to you, not for bulk marketing lists).
12. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies before providing information to them.
13. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
